Does anyone know the source of this quote? I’m pretty sure that’s the quote, or it’s something very similar.

Kenshō the first Bhumi?

I’m primarily a student of Dzogchen so I’m not as familiar with how one makes sense of the terminology used in Zen and this misunderstanding has been bothering me for some time. First, is Kenshō considered the first Bhumi, realization of emptiness? In Hakiun: On Kenshō, he says “After you have becom...

Re: Dream Yoga experience

Someone else mentioned it, but Ill second that what you experienced sounds exactly like sleep paralysis. Ive experienced this countless times since I was a child and while it can be extremely frightening, if you relax and realize that is what it is, you will slip back into a dream with complete luci...

Re: Father Francis Tiso Dzogchen & Early Christianity Connec

Thanks Ivo -- very interesting. Yes it is. The knowledge of these shrunken bodies was very common when I grew up. It was even taught in school as a normal part of the Ortodox tradition and everyone was very comfortable with the idea as everyone had seen these relics as they are all over our monaste...

Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu

Hi shanehanner, You're welcome. From my own experience the recordings vary somewhat as to the quality of the sound from one location to another, however I don't use headphones when I listen, I just listen through good speakers on my computer, so that could be something you could try. Practitioners ...

Re: Father Francis Tiso Dzogchen & Early Christianity Connec

Tiso's book on this subject will be out next year; it will be interesting to see if his conclusions are supportable or not. A long time ago, H.V. Guenther (either in "Wholeness Lost, Wholeness Regained" or "The Life and Teachings of Padmasambhava", or both of these books) alread...
