Re: Please, do not share "secret teachings" online, with anyone.

I imagine that most Buddhists wouldn't give a flying frak if you lived or died ... Since I'm doing my best to practice the four immeasurables and the wish to attain enlightenment for the benefit of all beings, that would be an odd thing for me to say. It's noble , therefor you are noble PuerAzaelis...

Re: Please, do not share "secret teachings" online, with anyone.

None of them. The only thing that counts is one's personal intuition of hows things are. thats so nice to say...and spot on ,on so many levels. but how do we know if our intuition is spot on and being tweeked by all the right things or are we deluded. Here, I am using the term intuition in its phil...

Re: Please, do not share "secret teachings" online, with anyone.

The one question I have been consumed with for years is, "Which religion is the right one?" That has been my quest. None of them. The only thing that counts is one's personal intuition of hows things are. Leaving aside -- Indeed, we all know that Dzogchen is the original Buddhadharma. :st...

Re: Please, do not share "secret teachings" online, with anyone.

So you think he is looking down on you. I don't think it's anything so personal. I really don't think I even register in his awareness. What else would spiritually advanced people have for plebeians (such as myself), other than pity or contempt? I mean, look at what Buddhist writings usually say ab...

Re: Please, do not share "secret teachings" online, with anyone.

Pretty sure "empowerment" received in previous lives don't count in this one..... Am I missing something? Maybe I am missing something.... Why would something we received/practiced in a past life not (possibly) ripen in this life? The Vajrayāna vows, like Pratimoksha Vows, are taken prima...

Re: Please, do not share "secret teachings" online, with anyone.

I don't think one can read a book, easily bought, on the six yogas of Naropa and understand some of the subtleties unless initiated into "IT" by someone who has completed them . Only then can certain physiological processes occur in the student. Without being in direct presence with someon...

Re: Zong Rinpoche Teachings

I gave the young Zong rinpoche a gift of a gyro scope which he played with for hours apparently.:)

no doubt it made it back to the monastery where he grew up.
I heard he bought the young monks tons of toys to play with and tried hard to make life nice for them.

cool kid!

If anyone just caught the Trump presidential 76 minute news conference how can you argue the fact that the White House has slipped into a Bizarro universe.. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ZHTfdKAkLLw/Um1xNgXcmFI/AAAAAAAAEpI/RjdZHs6jUWY/w506-h750/Bizarro%2BWorld%2B-%2BBizarro%2BNo%2BHome.jpg Biza...

Zennichimaro

I'm not much up on Japanese linguistics. Reading today Queequeg's post on Nichiren Shonin's BDay i noticed his birth name Zennichimaro, and recalled Sensai ikeda's pen name in human revolution books ,Shinichi Yamamoto. Is there some sort of play on words here? Or coincidence. Is this a clue as to wh...

Public apology to Zasep Tulku rinpoche

recently a taboo subject came up on Dharma wheel and i slighted Zasep Tulku Rinpoche. all he ever did for me was try to help me. He is the nicest of teachers and goes the step further if asked. I want to say a few words about what has mulled over in my mind due to those words being written about him...
