Hello all.

I am a student, aspiring writer and a freelance artist from India. I have been lurking on this forum for a while and finally decided to create an account here to engage in enlightening conversations with fellow Dharma enthusiasts/followers. Whilst I am not an ordained Dharma practitioner, I have a profound interest in the historicity and museology of the great Indian Buddhist/Saiva/Sakta age. I am profoundly interested in exploring the roots of the original Tantric tradition of ancient India where Buddhist, Saiva and Sakta tantra once flourished. I have an aim of exploring and writing about these traditions in the future and hope to get ordained in a lineage where I can practice and gain spiritual insight. Apart from that, I am also very influenced by the iconography and artistic aspect of these beautiful traditions and wish to get inspired by them in my own creations as well.

Looking forward to discuss more with you all.

Regards
-Khechara-

Hello David. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to visit Bodh Gaya and other pilgrimage sites yet due to my hectic student life. However, I have planned important pilgrimage/research trips in the near future and Bodh Gaya is certainly one of the essential places which I have to explore.
