Hello from South Africa

Post by Shaun »

Hi everyone

Just thought I'd introduce myself. I am quite new to Buddhism but it is something that speaks clearly to me. I am very interested in finding out more information.
Unfortunately I live in a small town in South Africa and there is not that much information or groups in the area. So I thought I'd sign up here. Hopefully this is the community that can help me learn more about the subject.

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Shaun.

Welcome, Shaun!

We have a lot of people with all sorts of levels of experience and different approaches. It is easy to get lost in the jungle of views! There are even a few teachers. I know some people maintain internet/skype contact with teachers and practice this way. It might be worthwhile to investigate a few teachers who do that and approach one you resonate with.

Looking forward to your questions and contributions!
