My name is Abhaya. Devout Mahayana practitioner with respect for all Buddhist traditions. Approaching 10 years since first starting to practice Buddhism, in several forms - Thai Forest Tradition, Burmese Vipassana, Kwan Um School of Zen (Korean), Linji Chan (Taiwanese), and Soto Zen (Japanese). I'm intending to enter the monastic community in the next five years or so, preferably in the Dharmaguptaka lineage due to the full ordination status it grants to nuns. Grateful to be here.
