Greetings of Peace to all !

To begin let me introduce myself. My name is Jasbeer Musthafa an ardent student and independent researcher in the field of Perennial Philosophy. Academically qualified in Communication and Media studies, I am planning to do my PhD in Religious Communications. I am an Indian by birth and living in Sydney, Australia for the last couple of years.


I begin my journey to Perennial Philosophy from the lap of Sufism and Irfan. From those affectionate discussions I used to have with my father (who was a follower of Sufi school of thought) and then from those nocturnal talks and musings I had with my Sheikh in India. Then my interactions with Rishis and Vedic gurus in India took me to many other realms of spirituality, where I saw the robust rivers are joining to the Supreme Ocean in harmony!



I took me ahead from that point enlivening myself to a point where I used to spend my sleepless nights with the literature of Adi Shankara, Ibn Arabi, Mulla Sadra, Rumi, Meister Eckhart, Guru Nanak, Ramana Maharshi, Frithjof Schuon, Titus Burckhardt, Ananda Coomaraswamy, Martin Lings, Annemarie Schimmel, Rene Guenon, Thomas Merton, Sayyed Hussein Nasr and so on, and there spiritually I am.

It is my pleasure to be in this group as I am keen to learn more on Buddhism and its philosophy.
