I am pleased to be a part of such a large and knowledgeable community! I'm Javier. I've been a practising Buddhist for over 3-4 years. I've started with Zen Buddhism of the Soto Sect when I was still in high school. In April of last year, I took refuge in the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, given the name Karma Tashi. Recently, however, I've discovered that I have a deep dharmic connection with the Drikung Kagyu and I hope to become more involved in it, helping a friend in his own aspirations.
My personal hope is to be able to teach Buddhism in any extent to help whoever I can in their spiritual path.
Though I'm in Tibetan Buddhism, I still try to keep my beginner's mind so I will have a lot of questions.
