Time for introduction

Post by newbie »

Greetings!

First of all, I'm lucky I'm still alive. Having made it so far, I considered the formal introduction in the morning.
I reckon late last night I was looking for the company of Prajna Paramita.

About myself: I've taken refuge vows very recently and would like a good connection to the lamas of the lineage.
Else I invest a lot of my time negotiating other people's exits of traps such as cults. So I do a lot of thinking.
Then what relaxes me is beauty, beauty of buddhist/thai shrines, altars, places. Sometimes I fall asleep at the computer.
What I want from the forum is that people feel at ease around me, and maybe I have a chance to learn from others' guidance, experiences.

Yes, it is samsara, but goodness gracious, what a great day to be alive!

It looks like it's working already.
I'll leave you to it then. :D

Thank you, Jim!

The motivation is that all sorts of bad things can happen to good people. It is good to have a blank check.
Tomorrow, no it is not good tomorrow, today I'll try something new. Maybe I'll take a dance class.
Or maybe I could prepare a torma because I've never done one. (Probably in the process I'll break all the rules.)
But it might be the least important, what might truly matter would be the attempt and the intention.
I could always come back on the first intention.

This is newbie. I've been locked out due to tech problems: the laptop is dead and the phone keys small.
But I'm determined on my practice and to reading discussions here because they are encouraging and educative. I'm not really into participating but more of gaining knowledge/ insight.
I can say that the cool off period helped me settle by having less stimuli to pay attn to and thus set some of priorities straight.
Thanks for acknowledging my existence!

Now, you all heard ...
It's time for me to go help home, shrine or no shrine, siddhis or no siddhis. I don't know when you have time for practice, family, jobs if all day long you're here theorizing.
But it's none of my business. Farewell!
