Hello Everyone,
Lobsang Sherab here, I'm American born into a christian family, Lyndon is my birth name. I became interested into Buddhism during my time in the military, when I was station in Japan and I was exposed to the Sangha. I hope to gain knowledge here, and develop my understanding of the Dharma.
Blessings
Greetings

Re: Greetings
What kind of Buddhism did you like in Japan?
1.The problem isn’t ‘ignorance’. The problem is the mind you have right now. (H.H. Karmapa XVII @NYC 2/4/18)
2. I support Mingyur R and HHDL in their positions against lama abuse.
3. Student: Lama, I thought I might die but then I realized that the 3 Jewels would protect me.
Lama: Even If you had died the 3 Jewels would still have protected you. (DW post by Fortyeightvows)

I was really fascinated by Shingon Buddhism. I ended up going to a Shinyo-en temple, and was pleased about the amount of english material available, they have a very good pray book with romaji transliteration. However, Shinyo-en seemed to a little to cultish to for me so I stopped going.
