Preclassic Maya Empire-little Princess El Castillo-reading zen koan〈4〉
little Princess El Castillo quickly and agilely knocked out three sissy men with her shadowless spinning kicks. LOL!

〈A Philosopher Asks Buddha〉
A philosopher asked Buddha: `Without words, without the wordless, will you tell me truth?'
The Buddha kept silence.
The philosopher bowed and thanked the Buddha, saying: `With your loving kindness I have cleared away my delusions and entered the true path.'
After the philosopher had gone, Ananda asked the Buddha what he had attained.
The Buddha replied, `A good horse runs even at the shadow of the whip.'

Re: Maya Empire-little Princess El Castillo-reading zen koan
That's a very interesting Koan. What is the significance of the Maya Empire and Little Princess El Castillo? I've noticed a lot of the Koans and other things you have posted have things like this. Is there a reference I am missing?kao1306 wrote:Preclassic Maya Empire-little Princess El Castillo-reading zen koan〈4〉

Zen is just outright frustrating. If Subhuti or Maudgalyayana didn't know the significance of a flower then--Bakmoon wrote:That's a very interesting Koan. koan is for fun and realizing, not for rationalizing.
