The Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act will be reintroduced on 2/13/2013 to the United States Congress.

Basically, the bill makes it legally possible for companies to share any of your info with anyone else, anonymously and with immunity to legal action, even if there is a mistake in your private information, and regardless of any other law protecting your privacy.

Gosh doesn't the US government have nasty cyber policies coming out! Sorta like the US Government's drone executions and US citizen assassinations. What is wrong with that Obama guy?

Excerpt from an email received 4/30/13:

Like the villain in bad horror movie, CISPA just won’t stay dead.
The privacy-killing zombie-bill is stalled in the Senate, and today the Whitehouse released their response to a petition against CISPA. Thanks in part to the massive public outcry (yes, you) they made some strong statements in support of users’ rights to privacy.
But given that corporate lobbyists have already spent $605 Million on buying support, we can expect that CISPA will be back in some form soon enough. It’s likely that the Senate will split the bill up into several smaller bills that will be harder to keep track of and rally around.

Although, I'm not sure how much this bill will matter given that the Utah Data Center will be finished in September of 2013. Apparently ALL internet traffic/data will pass through the center and allegedly be recorded and stored.

Maybe CISPA is a preparatory bill to justify the legality of the data center?
