I saw this one on tv last night, killed myself laughing.
An appreciation of football, real football, not that American nonsense, or at least an appreciation of the mentality of football fans, is necessary.

I once spent a semester pretending to be a backer of Nottingham Forest simply to razz a student who supported Derby. As I write that it sounds quite mean-spirited, but it was understood to be good fun.

Football humour is pretty harsh..
When Spurs play Northern clubs ( where there is high unemployment ) the fans wave £10 notes at the opposition fans and sing;
" One job among 'em. There's only one job among 'em "
To the tune of ' Guantanamera '....tsk tsk..
