Aye , the beautiful game...However I am nursing a private grief, my team are about to be demoted from the English Premier Division....ah me.

Could be worse. My husband supports Derby and is trying to encourage my son to do the same:(

I once spent a semester pretending to be a backer of Nottingham Forest simply to razz a student who supported Derby. As I write that it sounds quite mean-spirited, but it was understood to be good fun.
