Oushi,

You are cool my friend. Without you this forum is so boring (at least to me).

Maybe they are here to test your patience. :lol:

Maybe you are right.
I only feel bad about triggering those negative emotions that manifest through their posts. That was never my intention.

The most prominent thing you can learn from this thread is not getting emotional responses when reading the answers to your postings.

So much adversity.

You shouldn't feel bad about other peoples incapacity to be mindful of their emotions. We are all learning here, except, of course, for Gwenn. :tongue:

Sorry that we are not living up to your expectations. It came as surprise to you that Buddhists are human too? :smile:

Just throwing some concepts out into cyberspace for us to play with...

non-duality = self functioning
duality = ego functioning

non-duality = identification as self
duality = identification of self

non-duality = unification of mind/body
duality = separation of mind/body

non-duality = unification of left/right brain hemispheres
duality = division of left/right brain hemispheres

non-duality = primal awareness
duality = awareness of awareness

non-duality = infinity
duality = finite

non-duality = love
duality = hate

non-duality = one
duality = two

garudha, non-duality = unification of mind/body
duality = separation of mind/body

non-duality is not unification of mind and body, that sounds more like Hatha yoga

I heard Garchen R. say that non-dual is like two fingers on the same hand. They may look like they are separate from each other, but they are still part of the same thing.

Except for me evidently. Here I am trying to troll my heart out with the "monism" heresy, and hardly anybody is biting. What an epic fail!

That's how it works in Buddhism (especially Vajrayana). A dull, fuzzy, warm feeling is NOT what it's about. Once one recognises that all appearances are merely the luminous display of ones enlightened nature, then everything is a manifestation of liberation.

non-duality is not unification of mind and body,
Please define "is" or "=" in that context.
