Thanks for posting those, surely a timely reminder at least for me, since I tend to get carried away with non-logical factors in the heat of an argument...

That reminds me...A very clear-minded friend of mine recommended a book called Straight and Crooked thinking by Thouless... The author writes clearly about various logical fallacies, including dishonest tricks in argument. I really enjoyed the book, though I will have to keep coming back to it. :)
