Religions role and the politics of envy. With the disclosure of the Panama Papers and the incredible cover up of billions of dollars lying in offshore accounts for the benefit of the extravagantly prosperous 1% of humanity. We hardly hear a whimper of condemnation from the major religions of the world including the church's right through USA and Europe. Is it because they are the beneficiaries of government handouts and run their tax free cathedrals, schools and retirement villages for clear profit? How far have they drifted from the Nazarethian message of 'the Sermon on the Mount'?
