This topic is not so related to Buddhism, but I figure the lounge may be a suitable place to post it.
Does anyone here play Civ V? Is anyone eagerly awaiting, like me and my boyfriend, Civ VI?

Civ V/Civ VI
Then, the monks uttered this gāthā:
These bodies are like foam.
Them being frail, who can rejoice in them?
The Buddha attained the vajra-body.
Still, it becomes inconstant and ruined.
The many Buddhas are vajra-entities.
All are also subject to inconstancy.
Quickly ended, like melting snow --
how could things be different?
The Buddha passed into parinirvāṇa afterward.

Re: Civ V/Civ VI
I love Civ V.
I don't know about Civ VI though. A lot of the achievements look too easy to get. It seems to be a common theme these days to make strategy games easier. Not a fan of that.
I think I'll miss douche-face Alexander though. It was so satisfying to defeat him
I wonder if Civ VI will have the same quirky, miss-it-if-you-blink charm of Civ V. Like, I'm pretty sure that the defeated Catherine the Great implies that she will be more than just my political prisoner

Re: Civ V/Civ VI
I've been tentatively impressed so far. Civ V was such a welcome simplification of the somewhat Byzantine user interfaces of III and IV, specifically in that it made multiplayer a lot more feasible, sometimes at the expense of the solo game. I think Civ VI seems, IMO, actually a "cautious return to complexity". I can attest that it has a far steeper learning curve that V did, for certain.
