Rakusu question...

Post by Justmeagain »

I am in the process of sewing a Rakusu. I made an error in my initial markings and now I have a 'face' cloth covered in tailors chalk.

Question is how do I remove the chalk and start again? I don't think its wax based so can't iron it out and I am not so sure the cloth will wash well....

Thanks for any feedback in advance!

if it's chalk and not the waxy stuff, just gently brush it off with a small brush or even a different piece of fabric. be gentle.

if it turns out that there is some waxy residue, then--use your fingernail and gently scrape it out.
