Shurangama Mantra day.

Post by jonaz108 »

Namaste,
my obeisances to all,
--------------------------
I would like to propose to everyone a day (Sunday maybe)
to chant the Shurangama Mantra, together, as much as we
can, for the benefit of all the sentient beings on earth.
Any date..? What about Sunday 7th of July?
Together we can make the diference.
At least 1 mantra (10 minutes). I'll try at least 7.
Just say "I'm in"

Yours Gratefully
John

Sorry, I was out for the weekend, with no PC.

Since we all have a different time zones,
I suggest that we chant soon in the morning,
like that, we can make a chain of mantras
during all the day.
Then, at the end of the session, we can offer
the merits to mother earth and all its inhabitants.
Good things can happen if we gather enough
people. Spread the idea please! Sunday the 7th.

Namaste,
John

Everyday problems teach us to have a realistic attitude.
They teach us that life is what life is; flawed.
Yet with tremendous potential for joy and fulfillment.

If your path teaches you to act and exert yourself correctly and leads to spiritual realizations such as love, compassion and wisdom then obviously it's worthwhile.

I can't seem to find a copy of this mantra online so that I may copy it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this helps, but here is a Sanskrit version. You could probably watch and listen and chant along with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3tEEgf_Ruc
