Ok, I know it's probably been asked before but can we please start a thread on Tibetan Buddhist places in Melbourne as close to the city as possible.
I sincerely want to find a place and I can but after finding a place I am not sure is it a proper Tibetan practice because there seems to be places that once I have found it on the internet I go to this forum and I can't find that branch of Tibetan Buddhism.
Like before, I found a place in the Melbourne city and the I went on this forum and I was told discussions about that branch are not welcome , etc. Now that's good and thanks to the moderator or the administrator for guidance.
Now there is a Chinese Mahayana temple of the Fo Guang Shan order really close to where I live and in the city but like I said once before I met once a Tibetan monk and I really liked him. Also I really love books written by Tibetan masters. So without a question I want Tibetan.
Now I need it as close to the Melbourne city since it can be a bit difficult for me to travel on the publick transport to places that are far since I suffer from schizophrenia and a specific type of bipolar, for wich I take injections and tablets to help me with side effects of the injections. Now those injections affect my energy levels, etc.
Anyway, please help.
Thanks

Hi Ervin
There are only two centres that fit your criteria that I know of and only Rigpa runs a weekly program. This really is your best bet http://www.evaminstitute and they have some good programs coming up in the next month.
I have walked to Carlton from the city before or what about biking it? The bike lanes are pretty good and there's bikes for hire at various points around the city.
There's also this next weekend http://www.somachi.com.au/teachings-bud ... b-leschly/
Best wishes
