The question originally put by the OP has been well answered by several people - thanks.
The thread has been carried a long way off topic, as much by the OP as by anyone else.
The conversation has taken little account of the purpose of this forum, i.e. discussing the Dharma with like-minded people.
For all of those reasons, the thread is now permanently closed.
