Free on the Google Play Store

Meditation Assistant is the easiest and cleanest meditation timer for Android 2.1+. Save your sessions offline, or share your meditation progress online and follow others via the MediNET community. Meditate once a day to maintain a streak, which is shared with the community. This motivates you to keep sitting rather than "break the chain."

Key features:
- Automatically put your device into vibrate or silent mode while meditating
- Choose from several included meditation sounds, or use a sound file of your own
- Play an interval sound at a duration of your choice
- Automatically put your device into airplane mode while meditating (pre-Android 4.2 only)
- Post meditation sessions online to MediNET, and visit the MediNET meditation forum
- Choose any Holo theme for the application: light, light with dark action bar, or dark
- Many more features are included, and new features are added with each version

I loved this: Meditate once a day to maintain a streak, which is shared with the community.

It's going to be the next competitive sport!

First to meditate 24/7 wins? Them that transcend practice 'win'? Sounds great. I used insighttimer for a while which also has a community but the lite version only lasts an hour or less . . .

On your Zafu, get set, gone . . . :meditate:

That's pretty good, but where I'm from, it's all about...

maintaining your meditation while streaking in your community once a day

is there an app for that yet?

The faster we can get those young monastics to streak, the faster I'm gonna become a monastic.

GO! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I have a better app that came preinstalled on my phone. It's called "Clock".
