dzogchen semde ( what is it ? )

dzogchen semde ( what is it ? )
hi, i am interested in different cycles of teachings like the semde. are there some books that would be good to read to understand what semde is and do you need lung or wang for semde practices?
If the thought of demons
Never rises in your mind,
You need not fear the demon hosts around you.
It is most important to tame your mind within....
In so far as the Ultimate, or the true nature of being is concerned,
there are neither buddhas or demons.
He who frees himself from fear and hope, evil and virtue,
will realize the insubstantial and groundless nature of confusion.
Samsara will then appear as the mahamudra itself….

and is the semde the place to start with the cycle of teachings and practices ?

If you are listening to ChNNR teachings I recommend you start with the Guru Yoga with a white Ah and singing the song of the vajra. In your daily life if you can apply his teachings on being present and working with circumstances that would be excellent. In general Rinpoche is transmitting a lot of teachings and you can do all of them that you received transmission for and understand how to do.
