Phadampa Center is honored that Chod Master Lama Tsering Wangdu Norbu Rinpoche has accepted our invitation to host him in the Bay Area once again. On October 2. 2010, Rinpoche will give Chod Empowerment, Since last year we receive Oral transmision and initiation on Heartily Laughter of the Dakini (tib. Khandos Gyal Kyang) This year Rinpoche will give Oral transmission and initiation on Kusuli chod or Hidden yogi's feast offering.
In Phadampa Center one can learn Chod Melody, how to use instrument such as Chod Dar ( Chod drum ), Bell, Kangling ( trumpet ) etc.Now even better Every Sunday Roaming Yogi ( Dawa la ) is teaching Chod Dance (Chod Chum) here in San Francisco, Bay Area.
In Phadampa Center every teaching is free of cost, but we appreciate any amount of donations or shopping from our web store. http://www.phadampa.org/Our-Store.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
We found many practitioner got interested in doing chod as it really was helpful for them in opening up heart into compassion, love and peace.
Till now we been doing Chod practice almost every Sunday and everyone is doing great. Even the new chodpas (Chod practitioner) picks up every thing easily with little support from older chodpas. On coming Sept - 26 - 2010 we will be practice Both Chod and Chod Cham At Shore Bird Park from 1.30 p.m. till 3.30 p.m
