Longchenpa - Four Immeasurables - Which Volume

Post by Johnny Dangerous »

I think he covers them in Kindly Bent To Ease Us, or whatever else it's called, but I don't remember which volume, which one is it?

He also covers them in "The Excellent Path to Enlightenment", which is probably much easier to read than Guenther's translations.

Thanks yeah, I will do that, I enjoyed reading them but Guenther's naming conventions and such seem pretty out there.

I believe this is a preliminary version of Ives Waldo's translation of Longchenpa's autocommentary on the text:

The relevant portion begins on p.242 of the pdf.

I actually LIKE "consummate perspicacity" as a term.

I 'm so glad I encountered other translators of Longchenpa`s before reading Guenther. I was just about able to `auto-correct`a lot of it.

Hi all

Does anyone know how to get Ives Waldo's translation of "Commentary on The Precious Treasury of Dharmadhaatu" -- I need to check and amplify a few pages that didn't print out correctly (mostly towards the end, & in the end-notes).

Would really appreciate any assistance. I printed the Commentary many years ago but didn't get around to reading it until much later, so I dont recall where it got it originally! Also would appreciate any contact info for the translator.

Thanks much.
