Anyone any more news on this? Is he just going to California or will he be travelling elsewhere. I am hoping to be on the East Coast in March and would love to get to see him if there's the opportunity.

He's in USA for Six weeks, total, and will be visiting major Universities. Dzokchen Ponlop Rinpoche / Nalandabodhi posted Seattle dates on FB. I'd anticipate more complete schedule in the next few days.

Wow - he'll be in the US for nearly 2 months - March 17 until May 11. That's a pretty lengthy stay compared to the couple of weeks only he was allowed on previous visits in 2008 and 2011. I hope we see him in Europe again soon for as lengthy a visit.

If you're referring to the Black Hat, I believe it is still under lock and key at Rumtek. I don't think Karmapa will get access to it while the court cases continue.

I note that there is nothing at KTD this visit other than 1 event in nearby Kingston NY which seems odd. Maybe still to come.

Cough...I wouldn't assume that any particular candidate will get it until the court cases are settled.

Carry on.

The Da Nang site doesn't have any link to any tickets at all. And last night they didn't have the contacts at the bottom of the page ether. How did you find out it has been sold out?

Zen Master Seung Sahn said, “That’s simple. Atomic bombs come from the mind that likes this and doesn’t like that.”

There was a whole separate tab area where you could purchase tickets the other day. It seems like the contact info is back up now though. A different site said the event was now sold out.
