Due to the limited time and tight schedule, His Holiness will teach in Tibetan. Translation will be in English and Chinese.

Some pre-LamDre teachings on the Triple Vision, worth watching even for those not attending.

It has been 7 days from the moment I sent an email to the organizer of Lamdre retreat from Malaysia, asking for some usual information, and I didn't received any answer. I sent the same email on 2 other addresses, and I didn't received any answer.
I tried on all the emails: [email protected] ; [email protected] and [email protected].
I also sent the application form filled with my data, but no answer also.

I called them on the phone and I talked with a man, but I didn't succeed to understand his English.. In the end I told him that I sent him some emails, and he told me (I think..) that he will respond to my email. It has been 4 days from that moment and I didn't received any answer.

Until now I participated at other Buddhist retreats outside my country, and I always received information by email without any problems.
I need some supplementary information regarding lodging, other taxes involved, etc, usual stuff. I don't know what to do.
Any suggestion?

Thanks

Few weeks back I emailed the organizer about any commitments for the full Lamdre. So far no response. For anyone who have not receive Lamdre, this information is essential and important. His Holiness always remind us about the importance of keeping the vows in vajrayana practice.

I am from Malaysia. If you can elaborate further details the information you need, I try my best to help.

Hi youtan

Thank you for your help! I tried to send you a PM with the question
I have regarding my possible participation to Lamdre retreat from
Malaysia, but it seams that is impossible. Can you give me an
Email, a way to talk to you in private?

I sent a Fax yesterday, and today I called them on the phone,
but I didn't find the person in charge with the organisation of
the retreat.

The commitments vary depending on whether it is the LamDre Tsogshed or Lobshed, and what HHST feels is appropriate.

For the vows, I'd recommend Book 5 of the encyclopedia -
http://www.amazon.com/Treasury-Knowledg ... +knowledge

It's important to study and keep the vows. However, don't get super stressed over it, if you don't fully understand a vow when you promise to keep it, you aren't expected to keep a perfect version of the vow that you have no knowledge of - that would be illogical.
