FPMT's relic tour to come to an end

Post by Fortyeightvows »

BIG NEWS The Relic Tour is closing at the end of December after 15 years of touring.
------------
Full details from FPMT, please read and share:
"We are delighted to announce that the Maitreya Projects India are moving forward. Lama Zopa Rinpoche has advised that all touring collections of Relics should be placed on permanent display at the Maitreya Projects in in Bodhgaya and Kushinagar, India. Therefore, Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour Relic events will finish at the end of 2015.
Rinpoche feels it is very important that the Relics are at the sites for pilgrims to pay respect to while the statues are built.
For further information concerning the Maitreya statues, please visit http://fpmt.org/…/l…/1000-maitreya-stat ... the-world/
A huge thank you to every single Relic event host, volunteer and donor for helping to make 886 Relic events possible throughout six continents during the past 15 years. We pray that the blessings and power of the holy relics will create the conditions for the Maitreya statues to manifest quickly and so bring benefit to many beings for many lifetimes to come."
