I've sort of focused on this inadvertently since coming back to chanting after many many years absent.
I actually seem to focus primarily on the syllable HO whilst chanting.
The problem for me is I do not do this intentionally it just happens.
It' like HO is the main thing coming from my chest and the rest of the mantra is taking a slight back seat if you will.
It feels good but the obsessive compulsive in me forces me to focus on it and my brain is telling me it's wrong .
I am spending more and more time trying to chant the whole mantra without no inflection on any part.
It's impossible.....the other day RENGE became the main thing jumping out and that frightened me.
I know I sound insane and stuff but this is really really starting to become an obsessive thing for me.
is it a good thing for HO to be the main syllable jumping out..or does it matter at all and I should ignore this and not worry...
I'm also convinced it is not healthy to worry and realize the importance of a group doing this practice...we need each other.
