Lotus Sutra Course
The Lotus Sutra is represented by at least 6 translations that I have from both Sanskrit and Chinese sources, and as I've come to understand, Sanskrit materials are the creation of a formal language that was used to create texts that are actually later versions of the text then earlier translations into other languages, such as Chinese, which is very early. And Vasubandhu's commentary is on a somewhat different edition than we have. (I have this)
But I have been very interested in what kind of religion one would make of the Lotus Sutra because that also involves asking the interesting question “what do I make of the Lotus Sutra?”
I found a website that had a 74 page course on religion as it is based on the Lotus Sutra, specifically the Tien Tai school, and its address was http://www.buddhistdoor.com/OldWeb/bdoo ... lotus1.htm, but it is not there now.
So I have uploaded a PDF file that contains this course and for the life of me I don't know who would hold the copyright, but I will take it down if you recommend me to. What I was going to ask is “how well does this Lotus Sutra course present the religion of Buddhism as represented by the Tien Tai school?
Thank you.

Re: A Lotus Sutra Course
Excellent! Thank you for providing this. Awesome; the download worked well and I now have the pdf on my laptop for daily reading. Of course, those with better background in Tian Tai can determine how accurate is this course of study. The media fire access address to download the Lotus Sutra course
