Dharma Transmission Guidelines

Post by enjitsu »

Amito Fo,

Any individual, be they Monk or otherwise, who transmits Mudra's and/or Mantra's to another individual who is not a member of Shingon-shu is violating the Rules of Esoteric Dharma Transmission.

This is one of the most heinous crimes that can be committed against Buddhism. To do so knowingly, makes it worse. To do so for money, even worse. To transmit Mudra's and/or Mantra's to someone who isn't even Buddhist is, even worse still. Buddhist Monks both protect & uphold the Dharma. Any individual who claims to be a Buddhist Monk that does not do both is in reality Not A Monk. Wherefore is it so?

For these individuals have abdicated, either willingly or unwillingly, either formally or informally, their position as a Buddhist Monk. If they have abdicated their role willingly they will have Defrocked willingly and will no longer assemble themselves in the appearance of a Buddhist Monk. However if they are unwilling they may still continue to assemble themselves in the appearance of a Buddhist Monk, *but do not be fooled*. For in reality these individuals *are no longer Buddhist Monks* because they no longer assemble themselves in Mind as Buddhist Monks.

Amito Fo,

Enjitsu
