Duality of Love

Post by garudha »

I'm confused about the aim of Enlightenment.

It seems to me, from my own experience and centuries of great literature, that Love a double edged sword.

To know love is to know the pain of love. Be accept love is to accept the pain of others.

The Buddha is said to have removed suffering.

Does that mean he also removed his ability to Love ?

I think the negative side of love comes from the ego.

I can't find any suffering in love. I can only find suffering in longing.
Shush! I'm doing nose-picking practice!
