Can you visit sanghas? Where do you live? In the US and most European countries you'll find several Buddhist schools.
And getting a library pass and reading is another option.
For me Zen and Pure Land is the way to go. I am not comfortable with lots of rituals, and I like a "down to earth" approach in my Buddhism, so therefore Zen. On the other hand I like Pure Land because of its emphasis on Amida's care for all sentient beings and its simple, straightforward approach.
