Which one is deciding for others?

Post by Green5 »

This is a question related to humility:

I have an information which may help people or hurt them.

Which one is deciding for them? (something that I would like to avoid)

a. Sharing the information
b. Hiding the information

Thank you very much

If you know it will help then it is best to help. If you know it will hurt it is best not to say or do anything. I know far too many people who think they are helping when in fact they make things worse. Some people can't stop themselves "helping", but really need to take a step back. Sometimes even the Buddha would refuse to answer peoples questions.

In gassho.
