Cats are so funny  People talk about dogs having so much personality, but cats are aloof. But, then you've got the person who says, "But my cat... My cat is so... dog-like!"

Cats are "people" too! They can have just as much personality as a dog - they do communicate it in different ways, sometimes. But, really, for the most part, they're just as engaging as a dog (except when they're sleeping, of course  ).

My cat Gleshka knows how to fetch. Really, though, he taught me to play fetch with him when he was a kitten. When I first got him, he brought me one of his toys and dropped it in my lap. I threw it because I figured he wanted to play. Well, he went tearing after it and ran back with it and dropped it in my lap again. So I threw it again - and he did it again. And again... And again... "Holy Schmoley," I thought, "I gotta cat knows how to play fetch!!"

So, yeah, I got more stories like that. My friend's cat Magic used to go hiking with us in the woods behind his house. Point is - cats are more than they're given credit for.

...and I think a lot of them are Bodhisattvas in disguise :spy:

:D
And now, as long as space endures, As long as there are beings to be found,
May I continue, likewise, to remain, To drive away the sorrows of the world.

- Shantideva: Bodhicharyavatara

In this world there is no man, there is no woman. There is no person, self or consciousness.
Man and woman are merely imputed and have no essence. Thus, the minds of worldly beings are mistaken.

- Wisdom Moon: now known as the Bodhisattva Tara

When there arises a gap in the mind...

Yeah, there's good reason why the internet has been taken over by cats...
