Looking for a story of a Bodhisattva

Post by Tirisilex »

I read once from a book by the Dalai Lama of a story of a Bodhisattva who was on a boat. He found out that someone on the boat was going to kill everyone on the boat so the Bodhisattva killed the guy before he could kill everyone on the boat. Does anyone know where I can find that story again? Say on the internet or what book that story was in by the Dalai lama? I thought it was in "The Good Heart" but I'm having a hard time finding it.

As for the Dalai Lama book, I'm not sure which particular book you were reading, but he relates a version of that story here:
