Tokden Rinpoche Tsetsampa (1933-2013)
JLA just informed me that Tokden Tsetsampa ("In-retreat-for-life"), a student of the famed Yongdzin Zöpa Gyeltsen Rinpoche, himself a disciple of Shardza Rinpoche, passed away on December the 14th in Ngawa. He was one of the two Tokden Rinpoches from Tokden Gompa and an important lineage holder of numerous Bönpo teachings. The other Tokden Rinpoche had reached Rainbow Body earlier in 2002.

Guess these are dark times for the Bonpo lineage. They have lost two lineage holders within a month. Any young ones able to take over?

I am not sure but there are still several "old" important lineage masters in Tibet, in particular all those associated with New Bon.Clarence wrote:Any young ones able to take over?
