Does anybody know the corresponding equivalents of His Holiness, His Eminence, and other such terms in Tibetan and how they are used?
Thanks!
Warm regards,

Honorific titles
Re: Honorific titles
There are all sorts of honorifics in Tibetan but not literally equivalent to these English terms. They are appropriated from the Catholic Church, where they are used to refer to the Pope and Cardinals.lotwell wrote:Does anybody know the corresponding equivalents of His Holiness, His Eminence, and other such terms in Tibetan and how they are used?
