Tibetan symbols on the pendant

Post by TotoroLA »

Hello,

Can I ask someone to help me translate the symbols on the pendant which was brought for me as a gift from Tibet?

I would really appreciate your help as I have no idea where to look for translation. I tried comparing these symbols to Tibetan alphabet, but they look different.

Thank you! :namaste:

Best,
Yana

Looks like its meant to be 'om ma-ni pe-me hum' to me.

Om Ganapati Hung maybe? - the mantra for Ganesh. The middle part looks like the eyes and trunk of Ganesha.

It is a badly executed "om mani peme hung" and the image in the center is meant to be this:

Yes Sherab and Vasana seem to be correct - going a google search for 'Om Mani Padme Hum pendant' brings up several similar-looking pieces...
