Hi,

Can any one post the Panchashila in Sanskrit ? (preferably with Diacritics) as quoted in any Sanskrit Buddhist literature ?

I found one here. But I am not sure if its correct or not:

http://www.bodhimarga.org/wp-content/up ... erbook.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
1. PRANATIPATA-VIRATIH SIKSAPADAM SAMADIYAMI
2. ADATTADANA-VIRATIH SIKSAPADAM SAMADIYAMI
3. ABRAHMACARYA-VIRATIH SIKSAPADAM SAMADIYAMI
4. MRSAVADA-VIRATIH SIKSAPADAM SAMADIYAMI
5. SURA-MAIREYA-MADYAPANA-VIRATIH SIKSAPADAM SAMADIYAMI
My doubt is in the Sanskrit rendering of "Veramani" as "Viratih". /Vairamanya/ seems to be equivalent for Pali. Veramani. Also the rendering of Kamesu Micchacara ( Skt. Kameshu Mithyacara) as "Abrahmacarya" !

This book contains a diacritics version, and can be looked at on amazon:

You are asking for Romanized Sanskrit, correct?

If so, try here, it seems to be correct: http://kagyu-mahamudra.blogspot.com/201 ... ilani.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
