This year Vesak Day will be very grand and auspicious. Our Resident Rinpoche His Eminence Doonsay Ratna Vajra Rinpoche, His Eminence Doonsay Gyana Vajra Rinpoche, Her Eminence GyalYum ChenMo, Dagmo Sonam La and entourage of monks from Phodrang and Sakya Centre (Puruwala Branch) will grace the occasion.

19 & 20-May Drawing of Sand Mandala of Shakyamuni Buddha and the 16 Arhat
21-May, Fri The Birthday of Shakyamuni Buddha

9.00 am – 12 noon Long Life Puja dedicated to His Holiness
In between “Long Life Prayer of His Holiness Sakya Trizin” will be played continuously
8.00 pm Long Life Puja Part 2 with Ten Soom by Board members and Vesak Grand Sponsors
8.30 pm Late Dinner Reception to celebrate the Birthday of the Buddha
22-May, Sat
9.00 am – 12 noon Long 16 Arhat Puja with sand mandala
2.00 pm – 6.00 pm Tsimara Tsok (with a lot of dark red buns)

23-May, Sun
9.30 am – 12.30 pm
Tara Puja (weekly practice)
16 Arhat Puja with sand mandala
2.00 pm – 6.00 pm Chenrezig’s King Tradition Wang followed by
Shakyamuni Buddha Jehnang
