Joins us for a talk, followed by a mantra-meditation, then Q&A. The basis is the Tendai tradition of Buddhism and the mountain practices of the California Tendai Monastery. The concepts of Hinayana or ‘narrow’ and the Mahayana or ‘broad’ attitudes in practice will be discussed.

Sunday December 9th 1-3pm
zazensf's FILBERT STUDIO
2219 Filbert St @ Filmore St. Marina District

ZAZEN SF has been generous in offering their studio to host this Buddhist ‘dharma’ (a teaching, a practice, a truth).

Any relation to Timothy Leary?
Sergeant Schultz knew everything there was to know.

I don't think so. However, Keisho does have an interesting story to tell about the California "scene" in the mid-60's and beyond. He's a teacher I respect greatly, in no small measure because of his ability to connect with people through humor and narrative.
