Introduction to Buddhist Practice: DC/NoVA

We will cover all the fundamentals to practice, including meditation technique and posture, the basics of group chanting practice, a few points of etiquette, and the importance of tea and cookies and fellowship. There will be time for questions and answers...

This is a great program, Jikan, and a terrific way to introduce folks to practice fundamentals. I hope that people who participate get a glimpse of Tendai practice and its wonderful possibilities. I wish you success with this; it's just so important (IMO) for practitioners to have a strong, learned, and vibrant Sangha like your Great River.
