Fri. Nov. 8, 6:30 pm: Teachings on Naga Offerings

On this “Naga day,” Lama Dawa Rinpoche will offer teachings and transmission on the short Naga Offering puja by Dudjom Lingpa.
Suggested donation: $25

Sat. Nov. 9, 2:00 -5:00 pm: Red Saraswati Empowerment

Lama Dawa Rinpoche will be offering the empowerment of Red Saraswati from the terma of Chokyi Gocha. This is a very rare lineage of Saraswati in the Buddhist tradition. Lama Dawa is one of very few lineage holders of this practice. He received the lineage from Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and completed all the retreats under Rinpoche’s guidance. It is through this Red Saraswati practice that Lama Dawa developed the siddhis to do mirror divinations.
Suggested donation: $50

Sun. Nov. 10, 9:00am – 5:00pm: Teachings on Red Saraswati Practice

In the morning, Rinpoche will give instructions on the short daily practice of Red Saraswati. This practice is especially suited for practitioners involved in the arts and literature. In the afternoon, Lama Dawa will offer further teachings on the practice to those who have previously received teachings from Him and who have been doing the daily recitation for some time.
Suggested donation for the day: $50

Tues. Nov. 12, 6:30 pm: Teachings on the Riwo Sangchod

The Riwo Sangchod is a popular incense offering practice from the Rigdzin Sogdrup terma. Practiced by all Nyingma lineages, this short daily practice is done in the morning to purify all forms of obscurations and thereby increase one’s merit and fortune. Lama Dawa will bestow the verbal transmission (lung) and give instructions on its practice.

Note: texts for this practice may be purchased through Saraswati Bhawan Publications.

Suggested donation: $25

Wed. Nov. 13, 6:30 pm: Teachings on the Norlha Sang

The Norlha Sang is special incense offering that is geared towards increasing one’s “yang” energy, the energy of prosperity. Written by Jamgon Kongtrul.

Note: translations of this text may be purchased through Saraswati Bhawan Publciations.

Suggested donation: $25

In addition to this schedule of teachings and empowerments, Lama Dawa Rinpoche will be available for private mirror divination consultations. To schedule an appointment, please contact Lama Pecho (Bob Flaws) at: [email protected], or call: 303-775-9244.

For those considering having a mirror divination with Lama Dawa when He is in Boulder, CO Nov. 8-13, here's something more about mirror divinations from Lama Dawa's website:

"Lama Dawa Chhodak is widely recognized for his mastery of Dorje Yudronma's Mirror divination (ta). 'The Mirror Lama' is a name he is often referred by, and he is able to see into the past and present, as well as predict the success or failure of any situation arising in one's personal and spiritual life. Unlike other Tibetan divination systems, which give only a 'yes' or 'no' answer, mirror divinations provide answers which are detailed, specific and personalized.

"Lama Dawa's mirror divinations are well known for their high rate of accuracy and for this reason, he is regularly consulted by Lineage Masters, Abbots of monasteries, Lamas and the lay community from all over the world. In this way, he has benefited countless beings through his ability to determine the hidden factors behind any situation as well as finding the right solutions for every problem - whether mundane or spiritual. Practitioners, in particular, find Lama Dawa's divinations most helpful in identifying and solving obstacles to one's spiritual practice. Many people consult with him on an annual basis (usually before the New Year) regarding the general state of one's personal and spiritual life. Many unnecessary obstacles can be eliminated in this way if they are foreseen in advance.

"Because the Dorje Yudronma system of divination comes from the Buddhist tradition, the solutions to one's problems will generally be from the Buddhist tradition as well. Typically, the recommended solutions will include commissioning Lamas and/or monasteries to perform various ceremonies, or read prayers and scriptures on your behalf. Or, you may be advised to hang prayer flags, wear certain amulets, make special kinds of offerings, recite mantras, obtain special items like treasure vases, display thankas, or yantras, or take Tibetan herbal remedies, etc."

Back from Bhutan. There are only a few slots left for mirror divinations with Lama Dawa between Friday, Nov. 8 and Wednesday, Nov. 13. If you're in the Boulder-Denver area and would like a live appointment, please PM ASAP. Sorry, I can't help with long-distance divinations. For that, you need to contact Khandro Kunzang at [email protected]. I'm only arranging the in-person divinations while Lama Dawa is with us in Colorado.

Did you also send an offering per each question via Paypal? If not, that's probably the reason you never heard anything back. Khandro Kunzang does not give the questions to Lama Dawa until or unless an offering is received. Typically that offering is $20-25 per question. I believe this process is described in a step-by-step manner at http://www.lamadawa.com.

On the site when you try to link to the request form it says Lama Dawa is on retreat and not doing divinations. I think that is outdated, maybe you could nudge them to update the status so people can request. Although it's possible he is only doing in-person ones and otherwise only case-by-case ones of urgency?
