For those interested in the upcoming Medicine Buddha jenang (initiation) with Geshe Sonam Ngodup on the 27th of April, I wanted to give some information. Several people asked if the bodhisattva vows were necessary to take. Geshe la said that for the full initiation it is necessary to take the vows. However, for those who wish to take it as a blessing, they are not necessary.
