Dear friends,
We are very happy to let you know about the start of a new series of Friday Webcast Teaching.
Patrul Rinpoche kindly accepted our request to give a detailed commentary on a most beautiful poem written by Dzogchen Patrul Rinpoche — "The Heart Treasure of the Enlightened Ones".
In the foreword to this text, HH the Dalai Lama wrote:
"It comprises all the essential instructions and, because of the profound meaning it contains and the beautiful language in which it is expressed, it really is like an elixir for reviving the dead."
This text contains 82 verses, and Rinpoche will comment each time one of them, which means that we will have the opportunity to enjoy his teaching during at least 82 weeks.
Whether we can receive this teaching entirely or not will depend on our motivation; therefore let us together engender the mind of enlightenment—precious bodhicitta— and with this mind request our teacher to give this teaching fully and without interruption for our benefit and the benefit of all sentient beings.
Rinpoche will use the English text “The Heart Treasure of The Enlightened Ones” translated by the Padmakara Translation Group, which can be found here.
