We are extremely delighted to announce that Kyabje Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche, the Supreme Head of the Nyingma School, will be granting the Longchen Nyingthik Tsa Sum (Three Roots) empowerments in Dharma City from 8th to 13th October 2014, with the presence of Dzogchen Ranyak Patrul Rinpoche.
Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche was recognised as the incarnation of the great 10th century master Ngok Chöku Dorje. He studied with outstanding masters such as HH the 16th Karmapa and HH Dudjom Rinpoche, and received empowerments and transmissions of Longchenpa’s Heart Essence (Longchen Nyingthik) from HH Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.
The Longchen Nyingthik (Heart Essence of the Vast Expanse) was revealed by Jigme Lingpa as a mind treasure and passed down to today’s masters through an unbroken lineage. It is a cycle of Buddhist teachings of the tradition of the Great Perfection (Dzogchen), a complete path to enlightenment and a direct approach for those who are striving for liberation from samsara for the benefit of all beings.
