Most Venerable Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche will preside over the auspicious “Drikung Kagyu Great Indiscriminated Amitabha Puja for Transferring Consciousness” at the TWTC Nangang to benefit all sentient beings. It will be Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche’s sixth time to preside over grand Amitabha puja. By August of this year, enrollment had exceeded 20,000 attendees and this number is still increasing. As usual for pujas of past 5 years, admittance to the event and the lamp-lightings and transference of cconsciousness are free of charge. Under the guidance of Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche, and without the outside fundraising, the members of the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Culture Exchange Association have pledged over NT$ 20 million to cover the cost of this year's puja. Upon the perfect completion of the puja, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche as before will also contribute his personal donation and all of the offering from the attendees of the ceremony to the Taiwan’s Ministry of the Interior for social welfare.
