His Eminence Gangteng Tulku Rinpoche
Gangteng Tulku Rinpoche is one of the most revered spiritual masters in Bhutan and is the main lineage holder of the Pema Lingpa (Peling) lineage. The present Gangteng Rinpoche was born in 1955 in Bhutan and recognized by the late Dudjom Rinpoche & the 16th Karmapa. Rinpoche spent many years studying and practicing in retreat. He received all the Nyingmapa and Drukpa Kargyud teachings including complete Pema Lingpa Terco, Dudjom Tersar and Dzongchen instructions from many of the Greatest Masters such as HH Dudjom Rinpoche, HH Dilgo Khentse Rinpoche, HH Je Khenpo Tenzin Dhendup, and so on. Pema Lingpa was the last reincarnation of the great Nyingma Dzongchen master Longchen Rabjampa (1308-1364), who also spent 10 years of his life in Bhutan. According to the Pema Lingpa prophecy, Pema Lingpa eventually attained Buddhahood by the name of Tathagatha Vajragarba and has a pureland named Lotus Array. Devoted disciples of Pema Lingpa would pray to be reborn in His pureland.
Vajrasattva
Vajrasattva, the Diamond Being is the main Bodhisattva employed for purification by practitioners of all Vajrayana traditions. This prayer is the main method with powerful purification to eliminate heavy Karma and obscuration that one has gathered through beginningless existence, in particular, the violation of sacred commitment (samaya) that obstruct liberation. It is said that through the performance of the devotional practice of Vajrasattva, one is able to gather immeasurable merits and the fulfillment of all auspicious wishes!
Kurukulle
Kurukulle is a very powerful female deity that tames negative forces and obstacles for the practitioners. This helps / creates a better condition for us to practice the Dharma. Kurukulle is a deity of Accomplishing Power Activities therefore brings very successful and powerful result as wishes. The benefit of Kurukulle Fire puja is to purify negative defilements caused by our body, speech and mind. It will also clear obstacles created by evil spirits, demonic forces, naga and non-human. In the relative world, it would help us to improve our wealth, fortune, health and wisdom. Ultimately, it would help us to attain Buddhahood.
