In the meantime, the chat room link has its own sub forum called "Chat Room" directly under "Announcements" at the board index.

Would it be possible to put something on the home page that shows when there is someone in the chat room?

I'm sorry mudra, I'd love to have that feature but right now I've found the best outside chat server that I can, and it's separate from the website. So the only way to know is to blindly enter the chat room and see if anyone's talking.

I'm investigating options with the site owner; I've already contacted him. Thanks for your patience
