Divine Pride - Delusion

As Tantra often involves vows and samaya related to secret practice, this sub-forum has been created where Vajrayana practitioners can pose questions, and any of our members or staff can reply confidentially by PM.

Divine Pride - Delusion

Post by Konchog1 »

Exactly as the title says. I understand (somewhat) the emptiness of self and the valid base for imputing the divine identity.

But, it still feels like a delusion. Because I'm NOT the deity. It's just pretend. So how can I create an unbreakable 24/7 generation, and not feel like I belong in a mental asylum?

Thank you.
Equanimity is the ground. Love is the moisture. Compassion is the seed. Bodhicitta is the result.

-Paraphrase of Khensur Rinpoche Lobsang Tsephel citing the Guhyasamaja Tantra

"All memories and thoughts are the union of emptiness and knowing, the Mind.
Without attachment, self-liberating, like a snake in a knot.
Through the qualities of meditating in that way,
Mental obscurations are purified and the dharmakaya is attained."
